Mònica Rikic

Mónica Rikic Fusté has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a master's degree in Digital Arts from the Pompeu Fabra University. With her master's degree project, Buildasound, she participated in numerous art and new technology festivals, including Sónar, FILE Brasil and Ars Electronica. She obtained an EMARE artist residency to develop an educational tool based on Buildasound in Australia and the resulting project, Buildacode, was a finalist in the Margaret Guthman Musical Instrument Competition at Georgia Tech, Atlanta. She has exhibited in Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Germany and Canada, among other countries.
